Dedicated Educators

Our educators come from diverse backgrounds ranging from degrees from NYU, Columbia, and Adelphi to performing on SNL, Radio City, and NBC's "The Today Show". We are celebrating 35 years of international and outstanding training and affiliations. Our director and staff have led many award winning competition teams, trained students who have achieved significant scholarship winnings, and students that have pursued dance as a professional career.

Group Lessons

When your child enrolls for group lessons at South Shore School of Dance, they are receiving individualized, personal attention in small group settings. Our studio offers beginner to advanced classes for students of all ages beginning with Music Together at birth to Hip Hop for all ages. We strive to provide a nurturing environment starting with our pre-schoolers so that they grow and continue to benefit from our world class teachers.

Private Lessons

Private lessons can be taken with any teacher in any art form. They are tailored specifically to the student's interests in order to allow them to progress and achieve greatness. We have helped students from Massapequa, Farmingdale, and Plainedge audition in music and/or dance for the School of American Ballet, NYU, Hofstra, Adelphi, Julliard, the New York Theatre Ballet, and Broadway Dance Center's Pre-Professional program.
